We’re proud to share that the Danish Road Directorate (Vejdirektoratet) will use BriefBuilder for requirements management for the 3rd Limfjord connection.
The project includes a new southern connection where a motorway will pass beneath the Limfjord via an approximately 2 km long tunnel, running under the fjord’s 10-metre-deep navigation channel. The tunnel will be placed south of the Egholm island. North from the island will be a 660 m low bridge continuing the connection across Nørredyb.
As to be expected with such a project, the requirements are extensive and demanding — covering areas such as safety, sustainability, structural stability, constructability, and long-term operation.
We will do everything we can to support the Danish Road Directorate and its client consultant COWI in managing these requirements consistently and transparently across all project phases.
